Ah ha!

I have come to the unfortunate conclusion that weblogs are not for me as I rarely update this thing ... nevertheless I figure its time to bring those few of you who actually read this thing up to speed.  So here goes.

Another summertime has come at last.  I chose not to take any classes this summer since I will be starting my new job in July.  Recently I was given the opportunity to apply to this awesome place http://www.lifetimefitness.com/.  Allow me to save you the time and trouble of clicking on that link.  This place is amazing.  Inside are the following: A full Gym, various exercise areas for Yoga, Pilates, etc., A Caribou Coffee, an organic bistro, a child care center, an indoor recreation pool, an indoor lap pool, a spa, and a rock wall.  I will be a supervisor in the child care center and it has been a huge answer to prayer for me.  The benefits are incredible, full medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k, free membership and discounts, tuition assistance, and vacation.  This is awesome for me in many ways.  First in order to work there you must exercise at least 3 times a week.  Second the child care center is open from 8 am until 9 pm so once I get into taking day classes at Xavier www.xavier.edu  I can pick up night hours at lifetime.  Third there is a Caribou Coffee there ... mmm.

In the meantime I have been occupying myself with counting down the days until July when it opens and I quit my current job.  Hope you all are doing well and we need to schedule a get together sometime.

Snow Day!

So here is one thing I look foreward to and at the same time miss.  As many of you may or may not be aware, the Cincinnati area recieved a whole bucket of snow ... in terms of 6 inches deep.  Also it basically shut the city down yesterday while it was falling and ALL of the schools closed today and some of the colleges cancelled their classes before noon.

I WANT A SNOW DAY!    Is that so much to ask?  My daycare center does not believe in them apparently.

So to get back to my title I look foreward to the day when I teach in the public schools when I can have a snow day.  I also miss having them from when I was in school, as my younger brother slept til around 2 pm today.  Must be nice.

Where does the time go?

Hey guys!

Well let's see here... we have already established that I am absolutely horrible at updating this damn thing.  I beg forgiveness; however an explanation might be that I have been working 12 hour days at my job and going to school and amoungst all of that my weblog (if it can be called such) has fallen to the proverbial way side.

Ok so to update you all since November 29th.  The holidays came and went and so did my birthday ... woohoo 26 ... damn I feel old.  Christmas was nice, I always enjoy the holidays I got some cash money from relatives and I am hoping to buy a digital camera so maybe I can post some pictures of my day to day

Things are going well for me I just have been real busy but lately I have been missing you all, espically since I am back on a college campus taking classes.  I am reminded of all the good times we had hanging out, sometimes til the wee hours of the morning.  Perhaps this summer I can get away from everything here and come up for a visit!  It is rather impossible right now since most of my classes are on saturdays (not until noon though) and these will last until June.

Anyway I will try very hard to post on this more - if nothing else to let you all know that yes I am alive and breathing.

Hello!

Wow! I need to update this thing more ...

Ok, so it has been 2 months since I last posted. Where does the time go?  Let's see here, I have been working my ass off and going to school.  The class I am taking right now is really kicking my butt.  It is supposed to be an introductory course in Ethics (a required philosophy class at Xavier) but the professor treats it like we are all philosophy majors... very annoying.  Basically he gives us the reading assignments and then his lectures have nothing at all to do with the questions he asked on the midterm and the paper I am currently working on.  Well not immediately working on but you know what I mean ;)  So I am having to re-read most of the books I have already read to try to find something to write on.

How was everyone's Halloween?  Good?  No I did not go goth or J. Howard this year.  (Hi Erin!)

How about everyone's Thanksgiving?  Mine was very nice.  My brother came in from Indiana and we just had a small dinner with my immediate family.  I had to work the day after, someone had to watch all those kids so their moms could go spend lots of money...

Speaking of money does anyone know any single women that are wealthy ... I am looking for one ;) HAHA!

Well I hope you are all doing well I better get back to that paper ....
